Lewisham Opportunity Pre-School

Longbridge Way, London SE13 6PW, UK – 020 8852 4746

Such an amazing Pre-school. I think the inclusive policy of this setting is just spot on. The staff go above and beyond the basic requirements and our time here and helped us all immensely.

Kia Mena Montessori Pre-school

Foxgrove Rd, Beckenham BR3 5BW, UK – 020 8658 9009

I cannot recommend Kia Mena highly enough. Two of my daughters attend 5 mornings per week and they absolutely love it. They have come on leaps and bounds since they started and you really notice how their speech and comprehension has developed. The staff are all lovely and both of my girls frequently talk about their teachers and how they can’t wait to see them. The activities and topic the children study are varied and always educational and fun. It’s a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere in beautiful settings. You genuinely couldn’t find a better place for your little ones.

Kia Mena is the most wonderful Montessori I have ever had the good fortune to stumble upon. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Both of my older daughters attended from age two & I credit Jane, Emily, Taiwo & all the team with shaping my two girls into wonderful, patient, intelligent little women who are eager to grow & learn. It’s a fantastic environment for your child to spend time in ♥️

Just Kidz Out Of School Club

The Bridge Leisure Centre, Kangley Bridge Rd, London SE26 5AQ, UK – 07413 154798

My daughters attend the holiday play schemes and absolutely love it, there are so many activities for them to do and always new ones for them to try, the staff are so friendly. and approachable. I would highly recommend Just Kidz

My daughter goes to the after school club and the club during the school holidays. She loves going and has made lots of friends and good relationships with the staff. The staff act as good role models and teach the children to respect themselves and others all while having fun. I feel confident leaving my child in their capable hands, and feel they are very approachable if ever I had an issue. I also love that they have strong family values and I have reccomended them to my friends also.

Adelaide Ave, London SE4 1LE, UK – 020 8690 3710

this school makes me feel like i am being listened but like ,most schools they have a couple of comunication issues not to mention that face that i think that maybe they do is they dont expect the students with african herritige to do as well as the caucasian students and it shows.

I am also a student at prendergast in my first year i have learnt so much and it has been a great expirience the teachers are great and all the subjects are fun, to me all of the older students are helpful and kind and have a wonderful sense of humor. I think that this is the right school for me personally but also can bebthe right school for all of you so i hope that if you applied for this school you get in. U thank you mrs ledger for standing with us this year you have done some great things for us .

Forest Hill School

king sully of thou kingdom of foresthill respects the lord and his holy community with rigor and ambition. He respects partnership and he has real aspiration for excellence together with our saviour Jesus Christ and Quincy Ernest.

Best state school throughout this borough. It is the best school I have ever been to. Tones of opportunity and superb library. Students can also become library helpers. If you would ask me what part is my favorite, I'd say it's library and toilets. Students are split up into four houses.

Sedgehill School

Independent Schools

Riverston School

63-69 Eltham Rd, London SE12 8UF, UK – 020 8318 4327

Our son has been attending this school since reception and is now in year 6. The personal approach by staff and individual learning plan applied to our son has tremendously benefitted him. He has made lovely friends and we feel that the small family feel is a ideal environment for both educational and social development for children.

There needs to be more choice of gcses because when I picked my options there were only 4 options for gcse and the rest were btec. Riverston is not a bad school just needs some work.

St Dunstans College

Stanstead Rd, London SE6 4TY, UK – 020 8516 7200

Takes time to get adjusted to the environment, initially I found the first year at this school difficult. Things have changed now but overall the lessons are quite monotonous to have every week the teachers are relatively kind and the behavior isn’t that bad school does have high expectations and fantastic facilities (swimming pool and a gym) which I believe most students are too ignorant to appreciate

Iove for this leand

A lovely school with wonderful children, dedicated staff and supportive parents. I worked there from September 2015 and it really was the most exciting school I had the pleasure to teach at in my 20 year career. I will always remember Turnham.

I deal with the staff regularly and I think they all do a great job including the front office. When the works are finished this will be a fantastic school.

Baring Primary School

Gordonbrock Primary School

Amyruth Rd, London SE4 1HQ, UK – 020 8690 0704

19/02/18 My review about Gordonbrock primary school: I have been to this school for year 1 to year 6 ( this was wrote in 2018) 1: let's start at the education. This school's education is great they help everyone understand and try to get people to get involved. The main subjects such as maths, literacy (English) and science are tought here very well and there are more subjects like spelling, art, history, PE (gym) , dance, music, language and more .This school also has after school clubs. 2: Discipline. At this school the teachers are nice, if u have a problem you can speak to them about anything. At this school they have at thing called "The Blue Book". The blue book is a book were if you misbehave eg. not listen you get a warning, do it again you get a second warning. A third time u get sent to another class and put in blue book. Anything really bad eg. purposely hurting someone means blue book instantly and may lead to suspension depending on the matter. 3: hygiene/food: The overall hygiene is good, but the only 2 concerns I have is that the dining hall is the same place the children do dance and indoor PE where the children have to complete in bare feet. Once I had to have indoor PE inside, for it was raining but the hall was dirty and slippery, you could tell it had not been cleaned properly, anyway lots of people got hurt due to slipperiness and we had to miss PE. My other concern is the food. The food is generally good and occasionally teachers have, though sometimes isn't up to some students standards and some children have had food poisoning before, that's why some people enjoy their own home made packed lunch. 4: Food and school trips. The schools food is rate 5 star but most students dislike the food sometimes that's why some people like to have packed lunch. I personally rate the food 3 and a half. In addition, the price for the food take unnesasary rises sometimes that's why I recommend packed lunch; with packed lunch you can chose what u want from sandwiches to pasta, its up to you! But sadly the school doesn't allow any nuts and sweeties. School trips are fun in each year they go on over 3 trips from a range of prices. End

It ok 👌😐👏

Geek School Tutoring

60 Beckenham Rd, Beckenham BR3 4LS, UK – 07957 397602

In the last year, there is no question that Geek School has been instrumental in our daughter's monumental progress in Maths & Literacy and in her preparation for the 11+ as a whole. We are so pleased with the amount of progress she has made that now it is not a question of if but when our 4yo son can start classes with Joycellyn. Our daughter has also gained a lot of confidence in her approach to Maths problems and reiterates time and again that she finds her maths classes at school and the work set very easy. Our only regret is that we did not know about Geek school earlier. Undoubtedly she has also had to put in the effort and hours by completing work set by Tutors on a weekly basis but not over doing it as advised with regular feedback on progress. A worthwhile investment for any parent whose child is prepared to work hard and/or needs the extra push/motivation.

A must for that push for children in Maths and English subjects. The lessons are practically tailored to suit the individual learner. Great value for money, great staff, feedback offered after every session.

Firhill Rd, London SE6 3SA, UK – 07487 268059

Since we started using Genius Tuition for Maths for our son I have noticed that he is going from strength to strength and his enjoyment of the subject is increasing all of the time. His teachers at school have also noticed his improvement and he is now a confident boy and top of his class. We are grateful for the support at Genius Tuition and I hope to continue working with them to bring out my son’s top potential.

Our daughter really likes the way the lessons are taught and she feels she is progressing well with topics covered quickly. She is very happy with her maths now and is looking forward to continuing her tutoring. I'm very happy too!
