Taunton Road, London, Lee SE13 5SU, UK
It is mesmerising and peaceful, sometimes, and it is wonderful and lively at other times. It has a sweet cafe with options for everyone. On Sat, there is a hot-dog stall, an artisan bread stall, and a homemade preserves stall. The trees over the lake were shimmering so I took a little video! Take a close look at the tree, rather than the water...
A lovely park for families, dog walkers and groups. There is a cafe toward the Old Road entrance to the park which serves coffees/teas, ice creams and breakfast/brunch items. Next to the cafe is a decent sized children's playground. There is a wide green space in the middle of the park for people to sit where dogs are not allowed. It is right next to the pond so the ducks, geese and swans freely roam around in here. Toward the Taunton Road entrance of the park, there is a large cage which has both football and basketball nets. There are also two (recently refurbished) locked tennis courts and a fairly large dog area. The Quaggy river runs alongside the dog area and dogs frequently jump through the fence to have a paddle !

Family day chilling in da park. Lovely little place, has a cafe, toilets, stream and a lovely play area for children. Will be visiting this park again.
Nice park. Often has live music between 4 and 5pm (but we only got there at 4.59... 😔).

Really surprised Mayow Park has seen some wonderful transformations over the years, most notably the various outdoor gym style aperators for children and adults. These were being used and enjoyed which is marvellous. An upgrade on the children's playground is OK too. The park is a good size, filled with people enjoying what it has to offer from dog walkers, fitness enthusiasts, families going out for a little stroll, kids playing football. There is also tennis courts which should be nice for budding Wimbledon wannabes. A great buzz in this nice old park which is filled with very old trees and surroundings. Well worth a little stroll and visit.
Lovely park with a cafe and community garden, very peaceful with lots to see
